<P><STRONG>完全不能利用氧氣生長的微生物，亦即在空氣中無法生長，也不用氧氣進行生成能量反應的微生物，可以忍受低濃度的氧，不像絕對厭氧微生物(strictanaerobes)只要短暫曝露在空氣下即被殺死。</STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG>Clostridiumperfringens、Clostridiumtetani屬此類。</STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG>此類微生物通常產生superoxidedismutase，但不產生過氧化氫，前者可使它們能在低濃度的氧之下存活，後者可使它們在有氧條件下生長。</STRONG></P>
